It was fun to visit the University of Ghana's School of Engineering Sciences during my recent trip to Ghana.
Two weeks ago I was a guest at my friend Dr. Elsie Kaufmann's graduate class on Introduction to Biomedical Engineering. The students were working on an assignment to link African proverbs to the broad field of biomedical engineering. More on that later.
Yesterday, however, I had the great pleasure of presenting 70 engineering textbooks to the School on behalf of 4 senior Ghanaian engineers in the U.S. (AYASPAU). My wife Fran accompanied me and was touched by the gratitude and enthusiasm of the faculty, and took the videos below to capture the occasion.

It's a good thing you did here - to give an opportunity to young Ghanaians to appreciate the essence of engineering by accessing good quality material for study. Keep up the good work!
